Advance in minimal invasive treatment

Laparoscopic & robotic urologic surgery for prostate, kidney, bladder, and adrenal gland. Bumrungrad is the only private hospital in Thailand that provides robotic surgery services.

Laser surgery for BPH by using holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) or photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP).

Water Vapor Therapy for BPH by using ReZum (1st hospital in Thailand).

Bumrungrad's Urology Center provides Rezūm technology aimed at treatment of a source of DGPA - an increased prostate gland. This technology is therapy using water vapor to reduce prostate and free urination. Therapy is attractive in that it does not require surgical intervention and general anesthesia, and the recovery period in most cases lasts no more than a few days. Moreover, the patient's sexual function is saved.

Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) under general anesthesia

This TURP is performed to remove parts of prostate gland as a treatment for benign prostate enlargement (BPH). The patient will have to recover in hospital for three nights. The surgery will take place under a general anesthetic.
